BACKGROUND SUMMARY

Throughout his career, Russell Campbell has consistently been recognized for his ability to drive entrepreneurial risk taking in a corporate environment. Most recently, he was President and CEO, for ABN AMRO Asset Management Holdings, Inc. (AAMHI). This is the investment management arm in North America for ABN AMRO Bank, a major international commercial bank that also owns LaSalle Bank in Chicago. Mr. Campbell joined the company in Toronto eight years ago where, as President, he pioneered the Canadian subsidiary from a start up to $2bn assets under management in less than two years. Recognizing Mr. Campbell’s entrepreneurial approach and willingness to take strategic risks, the CEO of global asset management ABN AMRO selected him as President and CEO of AAMHI in 2003. AAMHI has $25bn assets under management for mutual funds and institutional investors across many asset classes and several subsidiaries.

Prior to joining AAMHI, Mr. Campbell was a partner at Beutel Goodman, a major Canadian investment advisory firm and, before that, he held progressively more responsible positions at Bank of Nova Scotia. At James P. Marshall, Inc., he worked with the entrepreneur/owner on a wide range of pension advisory activities.

Mr. Campbell has been in the asset management business for over 25 years. He is a proven asset management executive with general management experience supported by portfolio management knowledge and a pragmatic, entrepreneurial ability to take strategic risks and grow and retain business. He has demonstrated strong skills in building productive relationships with clients as well as internally with an international parent and with a sister company, LaSalle Bank, one of the largest U.S. banks.

An MBA graduate from York University in Toronto, Mr. Campbell obtained a BA in Industrial Relations from McGill University in Montreal. In addition, he holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France.

Mr. Campbell grew up living in several cities in Canada, mainly Montreal. He played varsity football at McGill and has traveled extensively internationally.

Mr. Campbell lives with his wife of 26 years in Chicago. He is active in both charity and professional organizations and has served on several corporate boards.

- From an entry-level position, enhanced trust company’s marketing of gold dealing by preparing investment reports, undertaking supporting research and daily radio reports.

- Co-managed a strategic metals and foreign currency portfolio.

- Achieved an MBA in a compressed time (3 years part-time), earned the designation of CFA and held a full time job all at the same time.

- Developed his presentational skills and customer focus by stepping up to pension advisor J.P. Marshall’s need for client interface support.

- Cleaned up and optimized bond portfolio at Bank of Nova Scotia.

- Took on a bond portfolio management role that was unfilled. Reduced number of securities held and professionalized portfolio management.

- Developed the first investment philosophy for managing pension fund assets at Bank of Nova Scotia.

- Successfully adapted to role as bank analyst at Beutel Goodman – 90 % of recommendations accepted.

- Grew the Assets Under Management of ABN AMRO Investments, Canada from a start up to over $2bn in two years.

- Developed a fully accepted strategic plan using a bottom - up approach for ABN AMRO Investments N.A.

- Proposed and had accepted a cost cutting initiative that would cut non customer interface and non portfolio management staff. Over fifty per cent of staff is planned to be reduced.

- Grew profits by 20% in 2004 and exceeded plan by 25% in 2005.

President & CEO, North America, ABN AMRO Asset Management Holdings, Inc. – 2003-2006 Comments: Russell was selected for this position directly by the Global CEO of Asset Management because of confidence in his portfolio management skills, willingness to take risks and his entrepreneurial approach to leveraging the global scope of the ABN AMRO group of companies. He led the company to a 20% increase in profit in 2004 and exceeded growth targets for 2005 by 25%. He reset the strategic direction in 2005 and upgraded the professional staff of 180 that included Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations, IT, Finance, Compliance and Strategy. He also initiated significant cost saving initiatives.

President, ABN AMRO Asset Management Canada Ltd. - 1998-2003 Comments: Russell pioneered this operation from a start-up to AUM of $2bn in two years from inception. He personally drove the marketing effort across institutional and high net worth clients. Ranked #1 by Greenwich Research for quality of investment staff due solely to his communication efforts.

Vice President and Partner, Beutel, Goodman and Co. - 1991-1998 Comments: Showed his agility by leveraging his experience with a commercial bank into a successful bank analyst role. This role featured significant client interface and Russell had 90% of his recommendations accepted.
